Excellent at catching small insects! Supplement by foliar feeding MaxSea fertilizer 1/4 teaspoon per 1 gallon 1-2x per month. (May not be necessary if your plant is able to naturally feed in your environment)
During Winter or when exposed to lower temperatures/changes in light period, many Mexican Pinguicula enter into a non-carnivorous state commonly referred to as the "succulent phase." New compact leaves grow forming a tight rosette visibly lacking the sticky digestive enzyme observed in the carnivorous phase. While your plant is in the succulent phase, allow the media to dry out moderately between waterings.

Blooming size plants may not be actively flowering on arrival.

If selecting a potting kit add-on, plants will ship bare-root accompanied by a 2.7″ x 3.1″ x 2″ plastic pot and individually packaged Mexican Pinguicula soil mix. Make sure to rinse the media thoroughly with RO or Distilled water before potting your new plant.
